Key responsibilities include:
Developing and Automating Tests: You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of Cisco Meraki’s wireless solutions by creating, automating, and executing tests for the software running on network operating systems.
Contributing to Full Software Lifecycle: You’ll be part of a cross-functional team involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
Collaboration with Engineers: You'll work closely with engineers across multiple domains—including software, networking, and quality assurance—to design new features and improve existing ones.
Learning and Innovation: You’ll have the opportunity to constantly learn new technologies and work on innovative wireless solutions that will be deployed globally across a range of industries.
Customer-Focused Development: Your role will involve understanding customer use cases and deployment scenarios to ensure that the software you help develop addresses real-world needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering (or related field).
- Experience: 0-2 years of post-study experience (this is an Early Career role).
- Skills:Skills:
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, protocols).
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless networking technologies (e.g., 802.11).
- Proficiency in additional programming languages.
- Experience in software testing and automation.
